Which is NOT a valid source CIDR for a security list rule in an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OC'II Virtual Cloud Network (VCN)?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A

'oci-local-vcn' is not a valid source CIDR for a security list rule in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure VCNs. Security list rules are configured using CIDR notation to specify allowed or denied IP address ranges for ingress and egress traffic. Valid CIDR notations include specific IP ranges like '0.0.0.0/0', '10.0.1.0/24', and '192.168.1.0/24'.

10.0.1.0/24 and 192.168.1.0/24 are fine options.

Wait, can you really use oci-local-vcn? Sounds weird.

0.0.0.0/0 is valid, though!

I feel like I've seen a question like this before, and "oci-local-vcn" stood out as not fitting the CIDR format.

"10.0.1.0/24" and "192.168.1.0/24" seem like valid private IP ranges, so I guess one of the others must be the answer.

I think "0.0.0.0/0" is valid because it represents all IP addresses, but I can't recall if that's what they meant by a source CIDR.

I remember we discussed CIDR blocks in class, but I'm not sure if "oci-local-vcn" is valid. It sounds like a placeholder.

Ah, I remember this from the OCI training. I think I know the answer, but I'll quickly review the material to be sure.

I'm a bit unsure about this one. I'll need to double-check the OCI networking concepts to make sure I understand the valid CIDR ranges.

I've worked with OCI VCNs before, so I'm pretty confident I can figure this out. Let me think through the valid CIDR options.

Okay, let's see. I know 0.0.0.0/0 is a valid CIDR, but what about the others? I'll need to review the OCI networking documentation.

Hmm, this one seems tricky. I'll need to think carefully about the valid CIDR ranges for OCI VCN security lists.

This seems like a pretty straightforward question about digital signatures. I'm pretty confident I know the answer - it's option A, where Dr. Alice signs the message digest created from the original prescription.

This seems like a straightforward question about the benefits of using electronic support tools. I'll carefully read through the options and choose the one that best describes the purpose.

I vaguely recall that bucket policies could help with denying unencrypted uploads, so maybe E could be one of the answers.

I'm a bit confused by this question. The tool description doesn't seem to match any of the options given. I'll need to review the material again and see if I can figure out the right answer.
