I heard someone tried to use SYSDATE in a SQL query, but the database kept returning 'Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.'

A) CURRENT_TIMESTAMP returns the same date and time as SYSDATE with additional details of fractional seconds

F is just redundant with C, right? Why would they include that as a separate option?

E is interesting, but I'm pretty sure SYSDATE and CURRENT_DATE are based on the database server's time, not the operating system's.

A and C seem correct, but I'm not sure about the fractional seconds part in A. I'll have to double-check the documentation on that.

You're right, A and C are the correct statements about date/time functions in that session.

Yes, A is correct. And C is also true because CURRENT_DATE returns the current date and time according to the session time zone.

I'm not sure about B. Can SYSDATE really only be queried from the DUAL table?

I agree with you, Katlyn. I also believe that E is true because SYSDATE and CURRENT_DATE are based on the server's operating system.
