I'm going with D) as well. If the system interface doesn't have an IP address, that would definitely cause LDP to be operationally down. Gotta love these tricky networking questions!

Hmm, I'm not too sure about this one. But I think D) is the correct answer. Can't have LDP running without a valid IP address on the system interface.

I'm not sure, but I think it could also be D) The router's system interface requires an IP address. Without an IP address, LDP might not be able to establish a connection.

I agree with Broderick, if LDP is enabled on both ends but still operationally down, it could be because LDP is not running on the router's interfaces.
