Which of these drugs is used to prevent contrast-induced nephropathy?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: C

N-acetylcysteine can be used to prevent contrast-induced nephropathy. Whilst evidence is not overwhelming for use in favor, it does appear to have a clinical impact. N-acetylcysteine is typically given the day before treatment and the day when treatment commences. Other means to prevent contrast-induced nephropathy include adequate hydration, while some studied recommend ascorbic acid.

I feel like activated charcoal is more for overdoses, not for nephropathy. I’m leaning towards N-acetylcysteine too.

I’m a bit confused. Wasn't there something about metformin being contraindicated with contrast?

I remember practicing a similar question, and I think it was definitely N-acetylcysteine. It’s supposed to help with kidney protection.

I think N-acetylcysteine is the one used for preventing contrast-induced nephropathy, but I'm not completely sure.

Okay, let's see here. The UI is server-side JavaScript, the business logic is Python, and the data tier is MySQL. I'm leaning towards option B - containerizing the app and using ECS with Fargate. That seems like the most straightforward lift-and-shift approach.

Okay, let's see here. The scenario talks a lot about data and the need for flexibility, so I'm thinking the answer is probably going to involve principles related to data management and change management. I'm leaning towards option B, but I'll double-check the details to make sure.

I'm pretty confident that the answer is C. Cherry-picking allows you to selectively choose which commits to include in the new branch, which seems to fit the requirement.

DRG sounds familiar from my healthcare admin classes. That seems like a structured way hospitals get paid based on patient diagnosis.
