Just double-checking, but isn't Esmolol super short-acting?

The dose is 50mcg/kg/min for 80kg, so that's 4000mcg/min.

I feel like the answer is around 20mls/hr, but I can't recall how I got there. I need to double-check my calculations.

I’m a bit confused about the conversion from mcg to mg. Was it 1000 mcg in a mg? I hope I remember that right.

I think we need to convert the mcg/kg/min to mg/min first, then figure out the total volume. It feels similar to that practice question we did last week.

I remember we calculated infusion rates in pharmacology, but I'm not sure about the exact steps for this one.

Hmm, this seems like a tricky one. I'll need to carefully consider the implications of the iterative life-cycle model and the available requirements information.
