Wait, can PPPoE servers even count? I thought they just sat there and waited for the internet to show up.

False, PPPoE servers do more than just wait around, they handle the connection process.

I'm going with false. PPPoE is designed for a point-to-point connection, so having multiple servers in the same domain doesn't make much sense to me.

True, PPPoE is meant for point-to-point connections, so having multiple servers in the same domain could lead to issues.

I agree, having multiple PPPoE servers in the same broadcast domain would not align with the point-to-point nature of the protocol.

I think it's false too. Having multiple PPPoE servers in the same broadcast domain could cause conflicts.

Well, if there can be multiple DHCP servers in a single broadcast domain, I don't see why the same couldn't be true for PPPoE servers. I'll go with true on this one.

I think it's false. PPPoE typically works within a single broadcast domain, so having multiple servers in the same domain would be unusual.

I think it's true because PPPoE servers can exist in the same broadcast domain to provide redundancy and load balancing.
