You are configuring the year-end setup in Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.

You need to configure the year-end setup to meet the following requirements:

* The accounting adjustments that are received in the first quarter must be able to be posted in to the previous year's Period 13.

* The fiscal year closing can be run again, but only the most recent closing entry will remain in the transactions.

* All dimensions from profit and loss must carry over into the retained earnings.

* All future and previous periods must have an On Hold status.

Solution:

* Configure General ledger parameters.

- Set the Delete close of year transactions option to No.

- Set the Create closing transactions during transfer option to No.

- Set the Fiscal year status to permanently closed option to No.

* Define the Year-end close template.

- Designate a retained earnings main account for each legal entity.

- Set the Financial dimensions will be used on the Opening transactions option to No.

- Set the Transfer profit and loss dimensions' option to Close All.

* Set future Ledger periods to a status of On Hold.

I feel like the settings for the General ledger parameters are key, but I can't recall if we went over the implications of the closing transactions option.

I'm a bit confused about the On Hold status for future periods. Did we discuss if that affects the ability to post adjustments?

I remember a similar practice question where we had to set the fiscal year status. I think setting it to permanently closed as "No" is crucial here.

I think the solution might meet the goals, but I'm not entirely sure about the retained earnings part. Did we cover how dimensions carry over in class?

I'm a bit confused on this one. I'm not entirely sure which monitor types would be best for assessing pool member availability. I'll need to review the material again to make sure I understand the differences between the options.

This is a tough one, but I'm going to give it my best shot. I'll start by looking at the print statement and work my way back from there.

'df' is the command I always use for this. I'm pretty sure that's the right answer, but I'll quickly review my cheatsheet just to be safe.

This looks like a straightforward related party transaction question. I'll need to carefully review the information provided and calculate the total amount of related party transactions to determine the correct answer.
