I'm going with C) Custom entity. Anything else would be like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Unless the company wants to start a new trend of 'contact onboarding'.

Definitely C) Custom entity. How else are you supposed to keep track of all the onboarding details? The HR director would have a meltdown trying to manage that in the standard entities.
