Microsoft DP-100 Exam - Topic 2 Question 23 Discussion

Actual exam question for Microsoft's DP-100 exam
Question #: 23
Topic #: 2
[All DP-100 Questions]

You create a pipeline in designer to train a model that predicts automobile prices.

Because of non-linear relationships in the data, the pipeline calculates the natural log (Ln) of the prices in the training data, trains a model to predict this natural log of price value, and then calculates the exponential of the scored label to get the predicted price.

The training pipeline is shown in the exhibit. (Click the Training pipeline tab.)

Training pipeline

You create a real-time inference pipeline from the training pipeline, as shown in the exhibit. (Click the Real-time pipeline tab.)

Real-time pipeline

You need to modify the inference pipeline to ensure that the web service returns the exponential of the scored label as the predicted automobile price and that client applications are not required to include a price value in the input values.

Which three modifications must you make to the inference pipeline? Each correct answer presents part of the solution.

NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point.

Not sure about that, seems risky to drop the price column entirely.

I think replacing the Web Service Input is key too.

Wait, can you really just remove the Apply Math Operation module?

Gotta connect the output to the web service!

From what I studied, removing the Apply Math Operation module seems crucial since we want the exponential of the scored label, but I can't recall if we need to do anything else with the SQL Transformation.

I feel like we might need to add a Select Columns module to filter out the price before scoring, but I'm not 100% sure if that's necessary for this specific case.

I remember practicing a similar question where we had to modify inputs for a model. I think replacing the Web Service Input module with one that doesn't include the price column makes sense.

I'm a bit unsure about whether we need to connect the output of the Apply SQL Transformation directly to the Web Service Output module. It seems like it could be important, but I'm not completely confident.

This seems straightforward. We need to use the URL path to identify the correct pool, so Client SSL and HTTP profiles are the way to go. The other options don't seem directly relevant to the task at hand.

Hmm, this looks like a pretty straightforward question about the components of IBM Cloud Object Storage. I think the key is to identify the three core nodes required for the implementation.

SSH is definitely the way to go. It's the industry standard for secure remote access and data transfer. I'm confident that's the right answer.

Okay, I've got a strategy for this. I'm going to carefully read through each option and think about how the different components of the hybrid deployment might be used for the meeting capabilities.
