Actual exam question for Microsoft's AZ-801 exam
Question #: 1
Topic #: 3
[All AZ-801 Questions]

You have a Site-to-Site VPN between an on-premises network and an Azure VPN gateway. BGP is disabled for the Site-to-Site VPN.

You have an Azure virtual network named Vnet1 that contains a subnet named Subnet1. Subnet1 contains a virtual machine named Server1.

You can connect to Server1 from the on-premises network.

You extend the address space of Vnet1. You add a subnet named Subnet2 to Vnet1. Subnet2 uses the extended address space. You deploy an Azure virtual machine named Server2 to Subnet2.

You cannot connect to Server2 from the on-premises network. Server1 can connect to Server2.

You need to ensure that you can connect to Subnet2 from the on-premises network.

What should you do?

Definitely not adding another VPN, that's overkill.

Wait, why can't we connect to Server2? That's odd.

I feel like we discussed the need for additional VPNs, but I thought that was only for different networks. This is confusing!

Adding a private endpoint sounds familiar, but I can't recall if it applies to connecting to a subnet from an on-premises network.

I think we practiced a similar question where we had to update routing information. Could that be the solution?

I remember studying about routing in Azure, but I'm not sure if adding a route table is the right approach here.

This question is testing my understanding of competition and market dynamics. I'll need to really think through the different factors that could signal an issue with competition in this healthcare industry.

The correct answer is definitely C - the Portfolio Office needs people who can interpret and challenge data. That's a critical skill for that role.

Ah, this is a tricky one. I know we need to be really mindful of privacy, but I'm not sure which of these options is the most appropriate. I'll have to review my notes and try to apply the privacy principles we've learned.

Okay, I think I've got this. Since the question mentions a QoS issue on the WLANs, and most devices are Apple iOS, the best option is to enable Fastlane under each WLAN setting. That should help optimize the QoS for the iOS devices.
