Question #: 46

[All AZ-305 Questions]

Your company has an on-premises Hyper-V cluster that contains 20 virtual machines. Some of the virtual machines are based on Windows and some in Linux. You have to migrate the virtual machines onto Azure.

You have to recommend a solution that would be used to replicate the disks of the virtual machines to Azure. The solution needs to ensure that the virtual machines remain available when the migration of the disks is in progress.

You decide to create an Azure storage account and then run AzCopy

Nope, AzCopy is not the way to go. I bet the correct answer is B, because we need a solution that can replicate the disks while keeping the VMs running. Maybe we should ask the Azure genie for help on this one.

Hmm, using AzCopy sounds a bit outdated. Why not try Azure Migrate? It's specifically designed for these kinds of cloud migrations, and it can do it without downtime.

AzCopy is a great tool, but it's not going to cut it here. We need something that can handle the migration seamlessly, like Azure Site Recovery.

No way, AzCopy won't keep the VMs available during the migration. We need a solution that can replicate the disks without disrupting the running VMs.

I agree with Loren. Using AzCopy would be a good solution for replicating the disks to Azure.

I think creating an Azure storage account and running AzCopy would fulfill the requirement.
