Hmm, I think adjusting the Priority on R1 to be lower than R4's would be the way to go. Gotta make sure that R4 knows who's the boss around here!

I'm not sure, but I think A) Adjust the Priority on R1 to be lower than the Priority on R4 could also be a possible solution.
