Which two statements are correct about the way that BGP propagates routes by default? (Choose two.)

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A, B

By default, BGP will propagate routes learned from EBGP peers to other IBGP peers. However, due to the BGP split-horizon rule, routes learned from one IBGP peer are not re-advertised to another IBGP peer. This behavior is designed to prevent routing information loops within the same AS.

I think A and B are the right answers. I remember something about IBGP not re-advertising to other IBGP peers, but I need to double-check that.

I'm a bit confused about C and D. I feel like EBGP routes should be shared, but I can't recall if IBGP routes can be re-advertised.

I practiced a similar question, and I believe B is definitely true since IBGP routes aren't re-advertised to other IBGP peers.

I think I remember that EBGP routes can be shared with IBGP peers, so maybe A is correct? But I'm not entirely sure about the other one.
