Question #: 36
Topic #: 2
[All JN0-363 Questions]

You are asked to configure an LSP which uses the OSPF link state database for path computations. Which two statements are correct in this scenario? (Choose two.)

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: D

The BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) refresh message is used to request the re-advertisement of the IPv4 unicast or multicast routing information that was previously sent by the sender to the receiver and acknowledged using TCP. This message helps in refreshing the routes in case of route table changes or to ensure that the receiver has the latest and most accurate routing information.

Wait, we're supposed to use OSPF for path computations? I thought this was a networking exam, not a magic trick!

Whoa, this one's a doozy! I'm going with B and D. After all, who needs CSPF when you've got policing, am I right? *winks*

Viva: Makes sense, we need to ensure proper traffic management in the LSP.

User 2: I agree with you, but I think D is also correct because you must use the policing parameter in the label-switched-path configuration.

Aha! I've got this one. C and D are the correct statements. Gotta love those tricky OSPF traffic engineering questions, am I right?

Hmm, I'm pretty sure C and D are the right answers. Who uses OSPF for path computations anyway? Sounds like a real head-scratcher.

Really? I thought it was A and B. OSPF is commonly used for path computations in some networks.

I think B and C are the correct answers. The OSPF link state database doesn't require the no-cspf parameter, and traffic engineering extensions are not enabled by default in OSPF.

I'm not sure about option D. Can someone explain why we need to use the policing parameter in the label-switched-path configuration?

I agree with Mica. Option C is also correct because traffic engineering extensions are not enabled by default in OSPF.

I think option A is correct because we need to disable CSPF for path computations.
