What information does the show chassis routing-engine command provide?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A, C

According to the Juniper SRX Series Services Guide, the null zone is a predefined security zone that is created on the SRX Series device when it is booted. Traffic that is sent to or received on an interface in the null zone is discarded. The null zone is not a functional security zone, so you cannot enable or disable it.

I bet the routing engine has a secret kung-fu mode that nobody knows about. The show chassis routing-engine command probably unlocks that feature. Just kidding, but you never know with Juniper!

Routing tables? Come on, that's just silly. The show chassis routing-engine command is clearly about the routing engine itself, not the routing tables. Option D is a total red herring.

Hmm, I was sure the command would show the chassis serial number, which is option A. I guess I need to double-check my Junos knowledge.

I think the correct answer is option B, resource utilization. Knowing the resource usage of the routing engine is important for monitoring and troubleshooting the device.
