Question #: 41
Topic #: 5
[All CCBA Questions]

A business analyst (BA) is supporting an organization in its product launch. The BA wants to identify assumptions about the benefits resulting from the new product. What does identifying assumptions help the BA manage?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: D

If an organization is launching an unprecedented product or service, it may be necessary to make assumptions about customer or stakeholder response, as there are no similar previous experiences on which to rely. In other cases, it may be difficult or impossible to prove that a particular problem derives from an identified root cause. Stakeholders may have assumed that certain benefits will result from the implementation of a requirement. These assumptions are identified and defined so that associated risks can be managed.

This feels tricky! I think it might help with metrics as well, but I definitely remember risks being a big part of it.

I’m leaning towards risks too, but I also recall something about how assumptions could influence priorities in a project.

I remember a practice question that mentioned how assumptions can impact requirements, but I feel like risks are more directly related.

I think identifying assumptions is really about managing risks, but I'm not completely sure if that's the only aspect it covers.

Okay, I've got this. The key is understanding the permissions needed to view the full account inventory information. I think the answer is A - List Accounts and View Safe Members.

I've got this! The relational database service definitely has single instance, and I think there's also an active and standby instance option.

Okay, the code checks if the user's response is 25. I think the key is to figure out what the conditional operator is evaluating and what the possible outcomes are.
