At the beginning of a project we must keep in mind there are basically three views of a process:What you THINK it is, What it ACTUALLY is and What is DOCUMENTED.
This is an important concept. I'm pretty confident the right answer is that the statement is true - the three views of a process are rarely perfectly aligned, especially at the start of a project.
I'm a bit confused by this question. I'll need to review my notes on project management to make sure I understand the distinctions between these three views.
Ah, I see what they're getting at. The right answer is probably that the statement is true - the documented process, actual process, and our perception of the process are often quite different.
This is a good question that gets at the heart of project management. I think the key is to recognize that the documented process may not always match reality or our initial assumptions.
