Option D is the winner here. Can't go wrong with the good old 'same algorithm' approach to derive the encryption keys from the PreMasterSecret.

Haha, option B sounds like something a superhero would do - 'The web browser opens a TLS connection to the PreMasterSecret!' Nice try, but I'll have to go with D.

Hmm, I'm not sure. Option B doesn't make much sense to me. Opening a TLS connection to the PreMasterSecret? That's a new one!

Option D seems like the correct answer. After creating the PreMasterSecret, the client and server use it to derive the session keys through a defined algorithm.

I'm not sure, but I think option C) makes the most sense. It's important to establish a secure connection during a TLS session.

I agree with Beckie. It makes sense that the web browser would encrypt the PremasterSecret with the server's public key for secure communication.
