Good point, so C and B could both be incorrect in terms of reflecting on-demand self-service.

Option C also seems to go against on-demand self-service, as changing the OS may require downtime.

That's true, I didn't consider that. A seems more aligned with the features of cloud computing.

But what about option A? Purchasing a cloud server based on needs sounds like on-demand self-service to me.

I agree with because upgrading the CPU isn't something the user can do instantly on demand.

I think option B doesn't reflect the features of on-demand self-service.

I agree with you, Lavonna. Option B is more about scalability rather than true on-demand self-service.

I think option B is the odd one out. Upgrading hardware should not be part of the on-demand self-service model.

But doesn't option C also suggest changing configurations on an as-needed basis?

I see your point, Salena. Option D does seem to be more about server maintenance rather than on-demand self-service.

I disagree with you, Maddie. I believe option D is the one that doesn't align with on-demand self-service.

Okay, I think we've got a consensus on D being the right answer. Now let's just hope the exam doesn't try to trick us with some other obscure cloud feature!

Haha, I was about to say the same thing! C made me pause for a second, but you're right, as long as the engineer can request the change, it's still on-demand.

Hmm, I was leaning towards C, since changing the OS might not be considered 'self-service' if the provider has to do it. But I guess as long as the engineer can initiate the change, it still fits the model.

Yeah, D is the clear outlier here. The other options show the engineer being able to quickly provision, upgrade, and change the OS of the cloud server, which is the whole point of on-demand self-service.

I agree with Barrett. Option D is the only one that doesn't fit the on-demand self-service model, since it involves a notification from the provider rather than the engineer being able to manage the server themselves.

This is a tricky question! I think the answer is D, since that does not reflect the on-demand self-service feature of cloud computing. The other options are all examples of on-demand self-service.

Definitely, option D is not related to on-demand self-service.

I think so too, the other options clearly show on-demand self-service.
