Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: B

Answer option B is correct.

The NLRB will conduct a decertification election if the employees present a petition signed by 30 percent of the employees in the bargaining unit. Management may not participate in or encourage employees to circulate the petition or provide any support in the process. Doing so is considered an unfair labor practice. A union can be deauthorized (C) if employees want to remove a union security clause, such as dues check-off. If there is a valid CBA in place (D), the NLRB will not direct an election. The NLRA prohibits an election if one took place during the preceding 12 months (A).

You know, this question reminds me of that old saying, 'the only constant is change.' Gotta be ready for those business needs, folks. I'm going with A, Workforce Planning and Employment. Sounds like the right fit to me.

Workforce Planning and Employment? Sounds like they're trying to keep us all on a tight leash. Maybe they should focus on Employee and Labor Relations instead, am I right?

You know, I was going to say C, Human Resource Development, but then I realized that's more about, well, developing the humans. A, Workforce Planning and Employment, that's the one that makes the most sense to me.

Business Management and Strategy? Hmm, that feels a bit too broad. I'm leaning towards D, Employee and Labor Relations. Gotta keep those unions happy!

Human Resource Development? Nah, that's more about training and development, not planning for entry and exit. I'm going with A.
