Your customer plans to deploy VMware ESXi 7 0 U2 and they are looking for a hardware platform mat wilt allow them to use up to 24 TB of physical memory.
Which HPE compute system meets this customer's requirements?
I'm just sitting here wondering how much cake you could bake with 24 TB of memory. That's a lot of bytes, my friend. Might need a few industrial-sized ovens for that one.
Ah, the classic DL380 Gen 10 Plus. Good old reliable HPE. Can't go wrong with that one. Although, I do wonder if they offer a special 'Memory Guzzler' edition for customers who just can't get enough RAM.
Hmm, the Synergy 480 Gen10 Plus might be an interesting option. It's modular and can scale, but I'm not sure if it can handle 24 TB of memory. Might be worth looking into further.
I'm not too familiar with the HPE compute systems, but the HPE Superdome Flex 280 sounds like it might be overkill for this scenario. Probably better to go with a more standard server like the DL560 Gen10.
The HPE ProLiant DL560 Gen10 seems like the obvious choice here. It can support up to 24 TB of physical memory, which is exactly what the customer needs.
