I feel like the proxy-based firewall might also have some connection tracking, but I agree that stateful firewalls are more focused on the TCP handshake.
I've got this! Stateful firewalls maintain connection state information, which includes tracking the TCP three-way handshake. That's the only firewall type in the options that would depend on that. Easy peasy.
The three-way handshake is a key part of the TCP protocol, so I think the answer has to be one of the firewall types that works at the TCP layer. I'm leaning towards B, but I'll double-check my notes to be sure.
Hmm, I'm a bit confused on this one. I know proxy-based firewalls and packet filter firewalls don't use the three-way handshake, but I'm not sure about Endian firewalls. I'll have to think this through carefully.
Hmm, I'm not too sure about this one. The question mentions "design" so I'm wondering if it's asking about the overall architecture or just the user interface elements. I'll have to think this through carefully.
I'm leaning towards option C because having redundant service agents seems like it would help with reliability, but I'm not so sure about the malicious attacks specifically.
Haha, Endian firewall? What is this, a firewall for left-handed people? Gotta be the Stateful one, it's the only one that's really into that TCP handshake.
