I remember the thresholds were pretty low, but I can't recall if it was 1 KB or 2 KB for the alert.

I feel like we practiced a question similar to this, and I think it was 4 KB that triggered the alert.

I think I remember something about small I/O sizes, but I'm not sure if it's 4 KB or 8 KB.

I'm feeling pretty confident about this one. The question is asking specifically about the "Small IO Alerts" setting, so I think the answer is going to be related to the size of the I/Os being detected.

Hmm, I'm a little unsure about this one. I'll need to re-read the question carefully and think through the different options to make sure I understand what's being asked.

This one seems pretty straightforward. I think the key is to focus on the "Small IO Alerts" setting and what that means in terms of the size of the I/Os being detected.

Okay, I've got a strategy for this. I'll start by eliminating any options that don't seem to match the "Small IO Alerts" description, then I'll carefully consider the remaining choices to select the best answer.

Okay, I got this. For the memory, I'd set a reservation equal to the full amount needed, so the VM never experiences contention. And the high latency sensitivity setting will make sure the VM gets the CPU cycles it needs, even if that means sacrificing some efficiency. Should be a straightforward config.

I'm going with B. 8 KB seems like a reasonable threshold for 'small' IOs. Unless of course, the admin has a bottomless cup of coffee and can handle endless alerts. In that case, C might be the way to go.

In that case, C would be the better option.

But what if the admin prefers to be alerted for even smaller IOs?

Hold up, is this a trick question? What if the answer is 'whenever the administrator feels like it, regardless of the settings?' Just a thought.

C is the winner! I/Os < 1 KB, that's really small. I bet the admins are getting tons of alerts with that setting.

Hmm, I was going to say D, but now I'm second-guessing myself. Maybe I need to do some more research on small IO thresholds.
