PVWA just acts as the interface, right?

Wait, are you sure it's not the Service Provider?

Agree, IdP is the one handling it.

It's definitely the Identity Provider (IdP) that does the authentication.

I recall that the Service Provider (SP) interacts with the IdP, but the IdP does the actual authentication. So, I would also choose B.

I feel like I might be mixing up the roles here. Is it possible that Active Directory could be involved somehow?

I remember practicing a question about SAML, and it mentioned that the IdP is responsible for authenticating users. So I would go with B.

I think the Identity Provider (IdP) is the one that actually handles the authentication, but I'm not completely sure.

Okay, I've got this. The Identity Provider (IdP) is responsible for authenticating the user and providing the SAML assertion to the Service Provider (SP), which is the PVWA in this case. I feel good about this one.

I'm a little confused by all the different acronyms and roles in SAML authentication. I'll need to take some time to really understand how it all fits together before I can confidently answer this question.

Hmm, I'm a bit unsure about this one. I'll need to review my notes on SAML authentication to make sure I understand the different components and their roles.

This one seems straightforward. I think the Identity Provider (IdP) is responsible for the actual authentication when SAML is used.

The Identity Provider (IdP) is the correct answer. That's the service that authenticates the user and provides the SAML assertion to the Service Provider (SP), which in this case is the PVWA.

I've got this! The 3 design thinking processes - inspiration, ideation, and implementation - are the core of the design thinking methodology. I'm confident that's the right answer.

Based on the question, it seems like Hardware-in-the-Loop-Tests might not be an appropriate component of a unit testing strategy, since the components are manually coded. I'll double-check the guidelines to confirm.

Backslash, that's it! I remember learning that in class. Gotta use that when my commands get too long to fit on one line.

I bet the PVWA just stares at the user and says, 'Prove you're not a robot!' and then lets them in. That's how I do my own authentication.

Wait, is the IdP like the identity fairy that waves its magic wand and makes the authentication happen? I'm just kidding, but it does seem like the most logical answer here.

The PVWA is the one that's asking for authentication, so it must be the one doing the authentication, right? That's my guess, anyway.

Hmm, I was thinking it might be the Active Directory since that's where the user accounts and passwords are stored. But I guess the IdP is the one that actually handles the authentication process.

I'm pretty sure it's the Identity Provider (IdP) that performs the authentication when SAML is used. The PVWA is just the service we're signing into, not the one doing the authentication.
