Haha, I bet the answer is 7 days. That's just long enough to catch the most recent stuff, but short enough that you don't end up with a ton of data to sift through. Gotta keep those storage costs down, am I right?

I'm gonna go with 1 month. That seems like a nice, safe amount of time to keep the detailed logs around. You never know when you might need to go back and reference something from a few weeks ago.

I think the default is 21 days. That's a pretty common retention period for event logs in my experience. Gives you enough time to review things without keeping everything forever, you know?

Hmm, this is an interesting question. I'm not too familiar with the default event retention period, but I'm guessing it's probably around 14 days or so. That seems like a reasonable amount of time to keep detailed logs before purging them.
