Ah, the joys of networking. I'm just hoping the answer isn't 'All of the above' and that the exam doesn't ask me to build a working Rube Goldberg machine as a bonus question.

Hold up, did you guys even read the question? The exhibit shows the debug output, so the answer is obviously A. Implement MBGP and enable a multicast address family on R2. Duh!

I see what you mean now. A makes the most sense based on the information provided.

D all the way, baby! Enabling BGP and advertising the subnet on R1 is the only way to go. Clearly, the problem is routing, not multicast.

Yeah, D is the way to go. Routing needs to be sorted out first before looking at multicast.

I agree, option D seems like the most logical solution here. It's definitely a routing problem.

I think option D is the best choice. Enabling BGP and advertising the subnet on R1 should fix the routing issue.

I'm not sure, but I think B) Configure the PIM protocol on the Serial 1/1 interface and enable Auto-RP could also be a possible solution.

Nah, I'm going with C. Deploying BSR on R1 and R2 and enabling multicast on both LAN segments should do the trick. Gotta love those redundant protocols!
