A company is collecting the requirements for an on-premises event. During the event, a wireless client connected to a dedicated WLAN will run a video application that will need on average 391595179 bits per second to function properly. What is the QoS marking that needs to be applied to that WLAN?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A

The Platinum QoS marking is typically used for the highest-priority traffic, such as voice and video. Given the requirement for a high average bitrate for the video application, Platinum would be the appropriate QoS marking to ensure the necessary bandwidth and priority on the WLAN.Reference:= (CCNP Enterprise Wireless Design ENWLSD 300-425 and Implementation ENWLSI 300-430 Official Cert Guide)

I agree, Platinum seems right for video apps. Gold might not cut it.

This question is tricky! I think it needs a high QoS marking.

Definitely needs a Platinum marking for that bandwidth.

I remember that Platinum is for the highest priority traffic, but I’m not confident if 391 Mbps qualifies for that. It could also be Gold.

I practiced a similar question where video streaming needed a high QoS. I think it was Gold or Platinum, but I can't recall the exact thresholds.

I'm not entirely sure, but I feel like Gold might be the right choice since it’s often used for video applications.

I think I remember something about QoS levels being based on bandwidth requirements. 391595179 bps sounds pretty high, so maybe it's Platinum?
