D is the way to go, folks. Tuns of companies are trying to squeeze IPv6 through their old IPv4 infrastructure. Bet the network admins are pulling their hair out!

C is an interesting choice, but I doubt a GRE network would generate that much extra traffic. Probably just good old IPv6 tunneling.

Hah, just imagine all the Windows users trying to set up their PPTP VPNs. Gotta love that legacy tech still hanging around.

I'm not sure, but it could also be deployment of a GRE network on top of an existing Layer 3 network, right?

I agree with Dorsey, it makes sense that the increase in protocol 41 traffic is due to IPv6 tunneling.

I think an increase in IPv4 traffic carrying protocol 41 indicates attempts to tunnel IPv6 traffic through an IPv4 network.

Option D seems the most likely. I've heard about IPv6 tunneling becoming more common as networks transition to the newer protocol.

I agree, option D does make sense. It's a common way to handle IPv6 traffic over IPv4 networks.

I'm not sure about that. I think it could also be deployment of a GRE network on top of an existing Layer 3 network.

I agree with Rebbecca. It makes sense that the increase in traffic is due to tunneling IPv6 traffic through IPv4.
