I'm going to have to go with B) House-building. It just seems like the most logical choice, unless they're building custom homes for each customer. And even then, process costing might still be the way to go.
I'm leaning towards B) House-building. I mean, can you imagine trying to do job costing for each and every house? That would be like trying to count the number of grains of sand on a beach.
Brewing? Process costing? That's a no-brainer. They've got to be tracking the costs of each batch of beer. I'd be surprised if they didn't use process costing.
I'm going with B) House-building. I mean, how else would they keep track of all the materials and labor that go into each home? Process costing seems like the way to go.
