What kind of cluster Dual-Site can be compared to?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A

A Dual-Site cluster is a type of cluster that combines the features of both Active-Standby and VSLS (Virtual Systems Load Sharing) clusters. Dual-Site clusters allow you to have two active clusters, one at each site, and the traffic is distributed between the two sites based on predefined rules and priorities.

A Dual-Site cluster can be compared to an Active-Standby cluster because one of the clusters is running in a passive mode and is only activated in case of a failure or a planned maintenance of the active cluster. And also can be compared to a VSLS cluster because both clusters are active and share the traffic load.

It's a type of High Availability solution that provides redundancy and failover capabilities across two geographically separated sites. In case of a failure or a outage on one site, the traffic is automatically redirected to the other site, ensuring that the service is not interrupted.

I disagree, it’s not just Active-Standby.

Wait, is it really just A? I thought it could be C too.

Hmm, this question is making me hungry. I could really go for a dual-site cheeseburger right about now.

B) VSLS only? What kind of cluster is that even? I'm going with C) Active-Active.

D) Active-Standby only seems too restrictive. Dual-Site should be more flexible than that.

I think it's C) Active-Active. That's the only option that makes sense for a Dual-Site cluster.

I’m leaning towards A) Active-Standby or VSLS, but I need to double-check my notes on that.

I feel like I saw something about Dual-Site being linked to Active-Standby only, but I can't recall the details.

I remember practicing a question about clustering types, and I think Dual-Site might be compared to Active-Active setups too.

A) is definitely right. Dual-Site needs redundancy.

A) Active-Standby or VSLS is the correct answer. Dual-Site is basically a fancy name for Active-Standby, right?

I think Dual-Site is similar to Active-Standby, but I'm not entirely sure if it also relates to VSLS.

Hmm, this is a tricky one. I'm not entirely sure how Dual-Site compares to the options given. I think I'll have to eliminate the ones that don't seem to fit, and then make an educated guess. Maybe I'll come back to this question if I have time at the end.

I've got this one! Dual-Site is a type of active-active clustering, so the answer is C) Active-Active. I remember learning about this in class, and how Dual-Site provides high availability and redundancy by having two active sites.

Okay, let's see. Dual-Site is a type of clustering, and the question is asking what it can be compared to. I'm thinking it might be similar to an Active-Standby or VSLS setup, but I'm not 100% sure. I'll have to review my notes on clustering technologies.

Hmm, I'm a bit confused by this question. I know Dual-Site is some kind of clustering technology, but I'm not sure how it compares to the options given. I'll have to think about this one a bit more.
