B makes the most sense. Digital is the way to go for the outgoing trunk, no point in going analog these days. Though I do wonder, are the mobile users using rotary phones or something?

I agree, digital is definitely the better option for the outgoing trunk.

D sounds logical, but I'm not sure why the outgoing trunk can be analog or digital. Shouldn't it be digital to ensure compatibility with the mobile devices?

I thought it was C. Analog or digital trunks for both incoming and outgoing? Guess I need to review the IP Office trunking requirements.

The correct answer is B. The incoming trunk can be analog or digital, but the outgoing trunk must be digital to support twinning with the mobile users.
