I remember practicing with BEDIT and BSAVEAS, but I don’t think either of those actually creates a new drawing file.

Okay, I've got this. The WBLOCK command is the one we want to use here. It lets you write out a block to a new drawing file. That's exactly what the question is asking for.

BEDIT is for editing, not saving. WBLOCK is definitely better.
