Hmm, I'm not sure. I guess I'd have to go with B. A permanent programmer who reviewed some of the new code, but has not written any of it, would be more independent than a business analyst who wrote the original requirements.
I disagree, I think C is the right answer. A permanent tester who found most defects in the original system would have the deepest understanding of the system and would be able to test it more thoroughly.
I think the correct answer is D. A contract tester who has never worked for the organization before would have the highest level of test independence, as they would not have any preconceived notions or biases towards the system.
