I remember practicing a question about different types of audits, and I think second-party audits are more for supplier evaluations, not for registration.
I've got a good feeling about this one. The key is understanding the different audit types and how they apply to ISO 9001 registration. I'll eliminate the options that don't seem relevant.
Okay, I remember learning about this in class. I believe the correct answer is third-party audit, since that's the type of independent external audit required for ISO 9001 certification.
Third-party audit, hands down. Anything less just wouldn't have the same credibility. Although, I did hear a rumor that the auditors have a secret handshake. Maybe that's how they keep it impartial?
