Actual exam question for Arcitura Education's S90.05 exam
Question #: 42
Topic #: 4
[All S90.05 Questions]

You are in the process of designing a service that manages content in a database of medical images. The service is able to add, update and delete images in the database. Each of these three functions requires a separate message exchange with the service. Therefore, the XML schema for this service provides an "addimage" element, an "updateimage" element and a "deleteimage" elements for the request messages, and separate "addlmageResponse," "updateimageResponse" and "deletelmageResponse" elements for the response messages.

Which of the following describes the minimum number of WSDL "message", "operation", "portType", "binding", and "service" elements that the WSDL definition must have for this service?

Yep, I'd have to go with option A as well. It covers all the bases - 6 'message' elements, 3 'operation' elements, and one each of the other elements. Seems like the complete set for this service.

Haha, this question reminds me of when I first started learning about WSDL. I spent hours trying to wrap my head around all those elements. But I think Lauryn and Pearline have the right idea here.

But if we have separate elements for each function, wouldn't we need more 'message' and 'operation' elements? That's why I think A is correct.

I'm inclined to agree with Lauryn. The question states that we need separate elements for the request and response messages, so that adds up to 6 'message' elements.

I think option A makes sense. Each function needing a separate message means 6 'message' elements.

I disagree, I believe the answer is B) 3 'message' elements, 3 'operation' elements, 1 'portType' element, 1 'binding' element, 1 'service' element.

Hmm, this one seems straightforward. I think option A is the correct answer since we have three main functions (add, update, delete) and each requires a separate message exchange.

It's important to have separate elements for each function to ensure clear communication with the service.

I agree, option A makes the most sense. Each function needs its own message element.
