I’m surprised this is even a question, it’s pretty straightforward!

No way, it has to be more than 2 commits to succeed!

I vaguely recall that for a transaction to be successful, you need a majority of Commit votes. So, option D might be the right choice.

I’m a bit confused because I thought as long as there was one Commit vote, it would be fine. But now I’m not so sure if that applies here.

I think I came across a similar question where the consensus was that a missing vote means the transaction fails. So, I’m leaning towards option B.

I remember studying that in WS-AtomicTransaction, if there's a missing vote, it usually leads to a rollback, but I'm not entirely sure.

I'm not totally sure about this one. I know WS-AtomicTransaction is designed to ensure consistency, but I'm not certain how it handles a scenario like this with a missing vote.

Okay, I think I've got this. Since two of the services voted to commit, and there was no abort vote, the transaction should be considered successful, even with the missing vote.

Hmm, I'm a bit confused on this one. I'll need to review the details of the WS-AtomicTransaction specification to understand the correct behavior.

This is a tricky one. I'll need to think carefully about the WS-AtomicTransaction protocol and how it handles missing votes.

Haha, imagine if the third service was just out to lunch and forgot to vote. What a way to ruin the whole transaction!

User 3: B) The changes are rolled back because the transaction is considered unsuccessful when there is a missing vote.

User 1: That would be a disaster if the third service forgot to vote!

D sounds a bit too strict. Isn't it enough to have a majority of Commit votes?

C seems plausible, but I'm not sure that's how WS-AtomicTransaction works. Gotta study up on that.

I believe it depends on the specific implementation of WS-AtomicTransaction.

Hmm, I think B is the correct answer. If one of the services doesn't vote, the transaction can't be considered successful.
