Preparing sounds like a stretch, not sure about that one.

I thought it could be Created too, but I guess not.

I feel like "Stopped" is definitely not correct, but I can't recall if "Preparing" could be an option.

I’m a bit confused; I thought "Created" might also work, but that doesn't seem right now.

I remember practicing a similar question where the status had to be "Running" as well. It makes sense for scaling.

It has to be Running! That's the only way it works.

Wait, it can't be Stopped? That seems odd!

I think the instances need to be in a "Running" state to be added to the scaling group, but I'm not completely sure.

Ah, I remember learning about this in class. Auto Scaling needs the instances to be in the Running state so it can actually scale them up and down as needed. The answer has to be A. Running.

Okay, let me see. The question says the instances must be in a certain status to be added to the scaling group. I'm guessing it's either Running or Stopped, since those are the typical states for an instance. I'll go with C. Stopped just to be safe.

Hmm, I'm a bit unsure about this one. I know Auto Scaling is about automatically adjusting resources, but I can't remember the exact requirements for the instance status. I'll have to think this through carefully.

I'm pretty sure the correct answer is A. Running. Auto Scaling needs the instances to be in an active state to be able to scale them up or down.

Okay, let me break this down. Auto Scaling is about dynamically adjusting resources, so the instances need to be in a state that allows that. I'm going to go with A. Running as my best guess.

The key here is that the instances must be in a specific status for Auto Scaling to work. I'm leaning towards C. Stopped, since that seems like a logical state for Auto Scaling to be able to scale up from.

Auto Scaling? More like Auto Snoozing, am I right? But seriously, A) Running is the only logical answer here. Can't scale what ain't moving!

Definitely A) Running. I can't imagine Auto Scaling being able to do much with instances that are in a Stopped or Preparing state. They need to be active and ready to go.

Hmm, I'm not sure. I would have guessed C) Stopped, since Auto Scaling could potentially bring stopped instances back online when needed. But A) Running makes sense too.

So, the status of the existing ECS instances must be Running to be added to the scaling group.

I'm not sure, but I think it might be C) Stopped, because maybe you can add instances that are stopped and then start them.

I think the answer is A) Running. Auto Scaling needs instances that are actively running to scale them up or down based on demand.
