Adobe Exam AD0-E208 Topic 1 Question 46 Discussion

Actual exam question for Adobe's AD0-E208 exam
Question #: 46
Topic #: 1
[All AD0-E208 Questions]

In the Solution Design Reference document, variable 'Product Category" is assigned to "eVar4" and is set on a product page with value "Shoes". It is then not recorded in the shopping cart page, the "Order summary" page, or the "Order completion" pages.

The variable is configured like this:

If we count the number of orders per product category in a report, which value receives one order after one visitor completes a purchase from that Product page?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: B

Since eVar4 is set to expire after purchase event, the value ''Shoes'' will be persisted throughout the visit until the order is completed. Therefore, the report will show one order for product category ''Shoes''.

This is a tricky one. I'm leaning towards B) Shoes, but I feel like there's a catch somewhere. Maybe the variable is invisible to the report, like a superhero in disguise.

Haha, this question is like a game of hide-and-seek with the variable! I'm going to go with C) None, just to keep the variable company in its hiding spot.

Hmm, I'm not so sure. If the variable is not recorded in the shopping cart, order summary, or order completion pages, then shouldn't the answer be C) None?

I agree with Maryln, because the variable 'Product Category' is set on the product page, so it should be recorded on the Order completion page.
