I think focusing on architectures with high MTBF might lead to fewer failures overall, but I'm still second-guessing if that alone is enough for downtime.
I'm pretty confident about this one. UDDs don't guarantee message order, but they do increase overall JMS availability by distributing the load across servers. The weight-based policy is also a key feature.
