I think information about the server might still be retained in Backup Exec, but I could be mixing that up with another topic.

I recall that when a server is retired, it becomes ineligible for new backup operations. But I'm not confident about the other options.

I think moving a server to the Retired Servers group definitely means it won't be part of the All Servers group anymore. That seems pretty straightforward.
