I remember practicing a similar question, and I believe it deletes the emails that are retrieved by the Get IMAP Mail Messages activity.

I think the DeleteMessages property is specific to the Get Exchange Mail Message activity, but I'm not entirely sure.

I remember learning about using date to set the system clock, but I can't recall if it can also set the hardware clock. I'll have to review that.
