I’m pretty sure touch doesn’t generate an error if the file exists, it just modifies it somehow.

I'm pretty confident that the number of designated ports is not the same as the number of alternate ports. That doesn't seem to make logical sense. I'm leaning towards option D, but I'll double-check my understanding just to be sure.
