I'm not sure if Option C or D are the right choices. The question specifically mentions 'false notifications of instances being down', so I think the auto-clear alerts or ephemeral infrastructure settings are the way to go.

Option B seems like the way to go. Selecting the Ephemeral Infrastructure option and entering the expected lifetime of an instance should handle the dynamic nature of the infrastructure.
