I'm feeling confident it's B. Topology mapping requires those extra layers of polling to be configured. Simple as that!

Let's double-check the settings and make sure we have everything configured correctly for the topology mapping to work.

I'm not sure, but I think A could also be a possibility. Maybe a firewall is blocking the polling between the nodes and the server.

I think it's B too. We need to enable Layer 2 and Layer 3 topology polling for the connections to show up on the map.

Haha, I hope it's not A. Blaming the firewall is the go-to excuse for when you don't know what's really going on. Gotta love IT humor!

Ah, I bet it's C. Forgetting to add the OIDs to the MIB database would definitely prevent Orion from mapping the topology. Classic mistake!

I'm leaning towards D. If SNMP polling isn't enabled, how can Orion even see the nodes in the first place? Gotta have that basic connectivity setup.

I believe option B is the most likely reason. Without enabling the topology polling, the connections between nodes will not be displayed in Orion Maps.

I'll check the settings to make sure Layer 2 and Layer 3 topology polling is enabled.

I think the reason could be that we did not enable Layer 2 and Layer 3 topology polling on those nodes.
