The key here is understanding the different polling methods used for SNMP monitoring. Since we're adding Cisco devices, API is likely the best option to integrate with their management interfaces.
I'm a bit confused on this one. ICLI, Control, and WMI don't seem like they'd be relevant for SNMP monitoring. I'll have to review my notes on SNMP and network management to figure this out.
I'm pretty confident the answer is API. SNMP is all about using APIs to retrieve data from network devices, so that's the logical choice for this scenario.
Okay, let's see. We're adding SNMP monitoring, so I'm guessing the answer has something to do with that protocol. API seems like a good option, but I'm not sure if that's the right choice here.
