(choose the best answer)

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A

Self-Management:The Developers have autonomy over how they achieve the Sprint Goal. The Sprint Backlog reflects their plan for turning Product Backlog items into a valuable Increment.

Accountability:The Developers are held accountable for delivering the Sprint Goal, and thus own the detailed plan within the Sprint Backlog.

Scrum Guide:The Scrum Guide explicitly states, 'The Sprint Backlog is a plan by and for the Developers'

I want to say the Scrum Master has a role in facilitating, but I don't think they own the Sprint Backlog. It’s definitely a tricky one!

I practiced a question similar to this, and I think the Product Owner has more influence, but the Developers actually manage the backlog during the sprint.

I feel like the Scrum Team as a whole has some ownership over the Sprint Backlog, but I could be mixing it up with other Scrum artifacts.

I think the Sprint Backlog is owned by the Developers, but I'm not entirely sure. I remember something about them being responsible for the work.
