Actual exam question for Scrum's PSD exam

How much time must a product owner spend with the developers?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A

This should not be too much in a healthy situation, and this also doesn't imply that the developers can control the PO. But when the developers need the product owner to clarify or renegotiate the work to be done, it will be an impediment if the PO is not available.

Wait, are we really saying 100%? That seems unrealistic!

I agree, being present for the sprint review is crucial.

100%? That's a bit extreme, isn't it?

I think it really depends on the team dynamics.

I think it’s more about being available when the developers need guidance rather than a strict percentage, but I’m not positive.

I feel like the PO needs to be present for key moments, especially during sprint reviews, but I can't recall the exact time commitment.

I think I saw a practice question that mentioned 40% being a good benchmark, but I’m not entirely confident about that.

I remember discussing how the product owner should be available, but I’m not sure if it’s a specific percentage or just as needed.

Ah, I remember this from our Scrum discussions. The product owner should be fully engaged with the developers, so I'm going to go with option C - 100% of the time. The product owner's primary job is to work closely with the team to ensure the product is being built correctly.

This is a tricky one. I can see arguments for a few of the options, but I'm not entirely confident in any of them. I might need to do some additional research on the product owner's role and responsibilities before answering this.

I think the key here is that the product owner needs to be available to the developers as much as they need. It's not about a set percentage, but rather about ensuring the developers have the product owner's time and input when they require it. I'm going with option A.

Hmm, I'm a bit unsure about this one. I know the product owner needs to work closely with the developers, but I'm not sure if there's a specific percentage requirement. I might need to review my notes on Scrum to be sure.

This seems like a pretty straightforward question. I'm going to go with option B - the product owner should spend at least 40% of their time with the developers, and potentially more depending on the stakeholders' needs.

Cold fusion? Really? That's got to be a trick answer. I'm going to go with Overwriting - that just seems like the most logical and straightforward approach.

I think I can handle this one. Inserting a hyperlink seems pretty straightforward - just need to find the right menu options.
