I agree, MRP does love to devour all that data! Production orders and both types of planned orders are definitely important for net requirement calculation.
I'm not so sure about ATP quantities. That seems more like an available-to-promise calculation, not a net requirements calculation. I'd go with the production and planned orders options.
Hmm, I think both Production orders and Planned orders (firmed) are the correct answers. MRP needs to consider actual orders and confirmed future orders to calculate net requirements.
