A customer wants to know whether they can use SAP Companion for Desktop for a non-SAP target application that is not listed in the Product Availability Matrix (PAM). What do you tell the customer? [2]
B) SAP Companion for Desktop cannot be rolled out for products not listed in the PAM. Guess I'll have to stick to my trusty keyboard shortcuts and mouse clicks. No fancy automation for me!
A) To run a joint Recognition Validation workshop to test re-recognition at page and object level. Ah yes, the good old 'recognition validation workshop'. Sounds like a fancy way to say 'let's see if it actually works'.
D) SAP Companion for Desktop can be rolled out for any desktop application, but will support the application context level only. Ah, the old 'context level only' trick. Gotta love the fine print.
C) The PAM only shows limitations for SAP applications. Non SAP applications are supported out of the box? Really? Sounds too good to be true. I'm calling shenanigans on this one.
B) SAP Companion for Desktop cannot be rolled out for products not listed in the PAM, that's a bummer. Guess I'll have to find another way to automate my grandma's solitaire game.
