I doubt it's just a missing keyword; must be something else going on.

Wait, so they can't even use the console? That's surprising!

Totally agree, local should be a backup if RADIUS fails.

I think it's about the AAA login command and RADIUS setup.

The local username/password is only for SSH and web access.

I feel like the missing radius keyword in the AAA config could be the issue, but I’m not completely confident about that.

I practiced a similar question where the order of RADIUS and local was crucial. I think the local command needs to come before RADIUS for it to work as a backup.

I’m not entirely sure, but I think local credentials might only apply when accessing via SSH or web, not console.

I remember something about the AAA configuration needing to specify the order of authentication methods. Maybe that's why the local password isn't working?

Alright, I think I've got a strategy here. I'll carefully review the AAA login command and the order of the local and radius keywords to see if that's the issue. Gotta make sure I understand the backup authentication process.

I'm a bit confused here. The question mentions the AAA web-server configuration, but none of the options seem to directly address that. I'll need to double-check my understanding of how the AAA login process works in this scenario.

Ah, I think I've got it. Based on the options, it looks like the local password should be used as a backup if the RADIUS server is unavailable, but the AAA login command may not be set up correctly for that.

Okay, let's see. The question says the RADIUS server is connected and working, but the local password isn't accepted. I'm guessing the issue has to do with the AAA login command configuration.

Hmm, this is a tricky one. I'll need to carefully review the configuration details and think through the AAA login command to determine why the local password isn't working.

Ha! This is a classic trick question. The answer has to be B. The local username/password is only for SSH and web access, not for console login. Silly technician forgot that little detail.

Well, this is tricky. I'm going to go with D. The AAA login command needs to have 'local' in front of 'radius' for the local password to work as a backup.

But doesn't the AAA login command specify that local password will only be used if RADIUS is unavailable?

Hmm, let's see. I think the answer is C. The AAA login command specifies that local password should only be used if the RADIUS server is unavailable, which makes sense for a backup login option.
